How do employers select one resume over another?
Recruiters will look for resumes that are most relevant to the job they are offering. They do this by searching for keywords (skills that are important for the success in the position. i.e., collaborative, organized etc.) on your resume. If your resume has the same keywords as the job description you may have the right skills for the job. They then review the resume for more detailed information in your work experience to see if your experience matches the job.
